OUR NAME
Pronounced ay-kri-tewr, écriture is the French word for writing.
Within the realm of French critical theory, its significance extends far beyond the act of putting words on paper. It symbolises the intricate relationship between writing and society, highlighting the interconnection of various texts.
In this context, writing serves as a profound and influential means of action. When you engage in writing, you're not merely recording thoughts; you're actively participating in the process of shaping ideas, society, and politics. It bestows upon the writer a transformative power to affect change and make a substantial impact on the world.
